Welcome to Ledger Labs, Inc. ("Ledger Labs," "we," "us"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of theledgerlabs.com and the email and SMS messages we send. By using this site or opting in to our messages, you agree to them. Last updated: October 1, 2026.
1. Scope of These Terms
These Terms apply to this website and to the email and SMS messages we send. Our accounting, tax, CFO and ERP services are provided only under a signed engagement letter or service agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the agreement controls.
2. Use of This Website
Content on this site is general information about accounting, tax and finance topics. It is not professional advice for your specific situation and does not create a client relationship with Ledger Labs. Do not act on it without advice from a qualified professional who knows your facts.
You agree not to misuse the site, including attempting to access it without authorization, interfering with its operation, or copying content in bulk by automated means.
3. SMS and Email Communications
If you opt in, we may send you:
- Informational messages – appointment reminders, onboarding steps and service notices.
- Marketing messages – newsletters, updates on our services and educational content.
- Message frequency varies with your interactions and preferences, typically daily or weekly.
- Message and data rates may apply under your mobile carrier’s plan.
- Consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of any purchase.
- We do not sell or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in data with third parties for their marketing.
4. Opting Out and Help
- Text STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation and no further SMS messages.
- Text HELP for help, or email mktg@theledgerlabs.com.
- To stop marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any email.
- Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, templates and downloadable resources, is owned by Ledger Labs, Inc. or its licensors and is protected by US copyright and trademark law. You may view and download content for your own internal business use. You may not copy, republish, sell or create derivative works from it without our written permission.
6. Privacy
We collect and use personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information. By using this site or opting in to our messages, you acknowledge that policy.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
This site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ledger Labs, Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content. Liability for services we provide to clients is governed solely by the client’s engagement letter.
You agree to indemnify Ledger Labs, Inc. against claims arising from your misuse of this site or breach of these Terms.
8. Fees, Refunds and Cancellations
Fees, billing and payment terms for our services are set out in your engagement letter.
- Refunds: we do not offer automatic or guaranteed refunds. If you believe a service was not delivered as agreed, email mktg@theledgerlabs.com with the subject “Refund Request” and include your business name, the date of payment and the reason. Each request is reviewed individually.
- Cancellations: to cancel a recurring or retainer service, give written notice at least 7 business days before your next billing cycle. Partial refunds are not issued for unused days after cancellation unless agreed in writing.
- We acknowledge refund and cancellation requests within one business day.
9. Governing Law, Changes and Contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the current version, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
