NetSuite Bookkeeping Services for $2M-$50M Businesses

Our NetSuite bookkeeping team handles daily work in your NetSuite account: transaction coding, bank and card reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, inventory and COGS tie-out, and a month-end close delivered one week after month-end.

Businesses usually call us when transactions sit uncoded, bank and card accounts stop reconciling, and the close starts with a backlog. Our team has worked in NetSuite since 2014 and has served 200+ NetSuite clients, from ecommerce brands and consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies to manufacturing and distribution businesses with $2M-$50M in revenue.

WHAT WE FIX

What Falling Behind on NetSuite Bookkeeping Costs You

Founders and finance leads usually find the problem when the numbers don’t add up, the close drags on, or the system no longer matches how the business runs. Here is what we fix. The cause is only confirmed after we look at your setup and your transactions together.

Problem: Transactions pile up uncoded, so month-end starts with a backlog instead of a review.
Fix: We take over the daily work inside NetSuite and keep the ledger current, so the close starts from books that are already up to date.

Problem: Receipts and vendor bills differ by quantity, price, date or exchange rate, and the balance sits in a clearing account nobody can explain.
Fix: We trace the purchase order, receipt, and bill, find the real variances, and correct the original entry. We don't use an unexplained plug.

Problem: Negative inventory, backdated entries, returns or transfers change inventory value and COGS, and the reports stop agreeing.
Fix: We trace inventory transactions through valuation and COGS, find the first entry that creates the difference, and set up a recurring inventory-to-ledger check.

Problem: Imported transactions are unmatched, reconciled items changed afterward, or activity landed in the wrong period.
Fix: We reconcile each trusted source to NetSuite, clear valid exceptions, and document what is still open.

Problem: Bills wait for coding and approval, and payments are applied late or to the wrong invoice.
Fix: We code and process bills and apply payments inside NetSuite. You approve payments and release them.

Problem: Entries stay unposted, and reconciliations stay incomplete. A checklist marked complete doesn't prove the review happened.
Fix: We complete the reconciliations and prepare the close inputs on a fixed calendar, and have someone who didn't prepare the work review it.

Problem: Data was mapped to the wrong accounts or split between the old system and NetSuite, and nobody caught up the months in between.
Fix: We rebuild dependable books from the information available, correct historical problems, and document what stays unresolved. This is the first step of ongoing work.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

What Your NetSuite Bookkeeper Handles Every Month

We offer NetSuite bookkeeping, including transaction coding, reconciliations, and journal entries. You manage vendor emails and invoicing while we handle your books. You approve payments.

HOW IT WORKS

How Our NetSuite Bookkeeping Onboarding Works

We take over your NetSuite books in four steps. First, we review your setup and your books. Next, we agree on access and take over. Then we reconcile to the point that your records can be trusted. Finally, we close every month on a fixed rhythm.

  1. NetSuite Review

We look at your NetSuite setup, accounting periods, enabled features, companies, currencies, permissions, and connected systems, then at the state of your books. You get a clear list of findings before any correction starts.

  2. Access & Takeover

We agree on access and permission levels, then take over the books. Onboarding takes from two weeks to a maximum of twelve, depending on the state of your books and systems.

  3. Reconcile & Correct

We find the first point where records stop agreeing, fix it in the right order, and test the whole workflow.

  4. Monthly Close & Reporting

Books close one week after month-end. You receive the agreed reports. Where we find a problem, we document the revised process, the report or saved search, the recurring control, and who owns it.

BUILT FOR YOUR INDUSTRY

Who We Do NetSuite Bookkeeping For

Every industry moves money and inventory differently. We know where each one creates bookkeeping problems in NetSuite and set the books up to match.

  • Ecommerce Businesses

Margins vary by product and channel. Payouts arrive net of fees and refunds. We configure how NetSuite books the payout, then tie inventory and COGS back to the ledger so channel profit is accurate as you grow.

  • Manufacturing and Distribution

Inventory valuation, purchase price variance, and received-not-billed balances drive the financial statements. We trace them to the ledger and keep the check running each month.

  • Startups

Fast-growing teams need books that stay current, so investor reports and spending questions don’t wait for a cleanup. We set up the daily bookkeeping inside NetSuite from the start and keep the reconciliations current as volume grows.

Software We Work In

Why Businesses Move Their NetSuite Bookkeeping to Ledger Labs

Many bookkeepers know the software. Fewer know how NetSuite posts an inventory receipt, a fulfillment, or an adjustment, and where errors hide until the close.
Here is how the daily work compares.

NetSuite depthBookkeepers and accountants who work inside NetSuite every day, since 2014 and across 200+ NetSuite clientsBookkeepers who know general bookkeeping and have limited NetSuite configuration knowledge
Daily upkeepTransactions coded and posted inside your NetSuite account as they happen, so the close starts from current booksTransactions batched or left until month end, so the close starts with a backlog

Our Testimonials

Hear from More Business Owners Who Were in Your Exact Position

Find out what our customers are saying about our services.

We were making pricing calls on numbers I didn't fully trust; every report needed double-checking. Ledger Labs cleaned up our books, and now they're reconciled and reliable. For the first time, I make decisions without second-guessing the numbers underneath them.

Warren Castellano Founder

Our financials used to show up weeks late, if at all. Now I get complete statements on the same date every month, without chasing anyone. That alone changed how I run the business; I'm finally ahead of problems instead of reacting to them.

Ingrid Solberg Owner

I was pricing products based on rough guesses because I never actually knew my true cost of goods. Ledger Labs set up SKU-level COGS tracking, and it turned out one of my top sellers had almost no margin left after real costs. I repriced it immediately.

Julian Ashworth-Reyes CEO

I had trouble figuring out which payouts from Shopify Payments, Stripe, and PayPal matched my orders. Ledger Labs connected each payment gateway to my actual sales, including the fees. Now, my financial records balance, and I no longer have to guess at the end of each month.

FAQ

Your NetSuite Bookkeeping Questions, Answered

1. What does a NetSuite bookkeeper actually do?

A NetSuite bookkeeper records and reconciles your transactions inside NetSuite: coding, bank, card, AP and AR reconciliation, inventory and COGS tie-out, and preparation for the close. We take full control of the books. Administrative work such as vendor and customer emails can stay with you.

They include daily bookkeeping, reconciliations, the monthly close, and the agreed reports. They don’t include sign-off on your financial statements, releasing payments, NetSuite implementation or custom code, an audit or attestation. Controller review, consolidation, revenue recognition, and reporting dashboards belong to our NetSuite accounting services.

A general bookkeeper records transactions. A NetSuite bookkeeper also needs to know how NetSuite posts inventory, receipts, and adjustments, because errors there only surface at the close. For example, an item receipt posts to inventory and credits received-not-billed. If the vendor bill later differs from the receipt, the balance sits in the clearing account until someone traces it.

Bookkeeping is the daily recording and reconciling. Accounting adds review, the close, reporting, and judgment about treatment. We do both for a NetSuite client.

Yes, as the first step of ongoing work. We rebuild dependable books from the information available, correct historical problems and document what stays unresolved. Cleanup is scoped separately from the monthly work.

Onboarding takes from two weeks to a maximum of twelve, depending on the state of your books and systems.

One week after month end.

A bookkeeper, an accountant and a manager work on your books each month, and you can reach your lead directly.

Cost depends on transaction volume, the number of entities, the complexity of revenue recognition and other services, and the state of your books. Cleanup is scoped separately. See our plans and starting prices. NetSuite’s own license and implementation costs are separate; see How much does NetSuite cost?.

You only want NetSuite licensing or resale; you need substantial custom code or a complex new connector; you want infrastructure or vendor administration; you want an audit, attestation or legal opinion; or you want a co-managed split of the accounting. We’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit.
